Board Certified Behavior Analyst 

Spectrum Behavioral Services is hiring a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work in clinic-based and school-based settings. Work closely with a supportive team of colleagues to implement behavioral programming, receiving weekly face-to-face and virtual supervision. A BCBA is responsible for developing appropriate programs and behavior plans as well as supervising their implementation. They are also responsible for continuously monitoring their each patient’s progress in order to provide the most relevant programming.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s Degree in ABA or related field

  • Board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA)

  • Experience with behavior guideline development and programming for children with autism

  • Strong attention to detail for data collection and report writing

  • Positive team player and energetic professional

  • Ability to train others (parents, staff) in basic principles of ABA, curriculum, programs, etc.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Good judgment and creative thinking skills

 

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Creates and supervises implementation of new skill acquisition programs and behavior support plan, and provides feedback and training to RBTs as needed

  • Captures and contrives opportunities to teach staff and patients in the natural environment and teaches others to do the same

  • Conducts functional assessments and analyses

  • Participates in assessment process

  • Attends and participates in parent meetings, staff meetings, trainings and other meetings as needed

  • Provides information about programming to parents

  • Attends IEP meetings as needed for the progress of the patient’s therapy goals

  • Offers feedback on staff performance reviews

  • Assists with new RBT training 

  • Participates in research and presentation opportunities at local and national conferences

Medical Insurance Biller

Spectrum Behavioral Services is hiring a part-time Medical Insurance Biller. A Medical Insurance Biller is  responsible for organizing patient medical costs and sending invoices to collect payment from patients and their insurers. Their duties include calling patients to discuss payment and develop reasonable payment plans, entering patient data into administrative systems and recording information about outstanding claims.

 

Job Duties And Responsibilities
 

  • Perform posting charges

  • Perform completion of claims to payers

  • Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion

  • Submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers

  • Process claims

  • Resolve denial instances

  • Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided

  • Deploy, maintain and report on various programs

  • Conduct audits

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Associate’s degree or higher

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical billing or any coding industry

  • Proficient in electronic medical records

  • Effective communication skills

  • Basic computer skills, such as sending emails, typing, and using spreadsheets

  • Interact virtually with clients and patients

  • Creative problem-solving skills

  • Work independently

  • Collaborate well with others

  • Multitask
